Kawaguchiko Business & Resort SAWA Hotel's review

This is my review of SAWA Kawaguchiko Business & Resort Hotel which I stayed for a night during my Mt. Fuji's viewing.

It is quite close to the Kawaguchiko station, approximately 750m which takes about 10-15mins of walking. It is better to walk than hailing the cab so that you can explore how the local's daily life would be. Along the walk, there are plenty of green sceneries to enjoy, including the paddy-field which are grown at the back of their houses.Interesting.

Though it is called as business and resort hotel, it is definitely looked like a budget hotel with no fancy and glamorous deco. The staff are really helpful and despite their lack of English proficiency, they are still insisting to help you out.Typical Japanese, love it.

Do not expect spacious and big hotel rooms in Japan, the bigger the room the more you are going to pay. This room that I booked is for 2 pax, and it is definitely can only fit 2 persons at a time.

Small bathroom yet clean and quite a fancy toilet I would say. It has many innovative functions including toilet warmer, which is pleasantly useful during winter.Pheww

This was the morning's view that awaited me for that day.So nice and refreshing.

There are 7-eleven and other local convenience store nearby which are quite convenient for visitors who need to get their late-night supper.

They also provide free Wi-Fi at the lobby floor and ethernet cable in each room.

I will recommend this to anyone who's heading to Kawaguchiko. Pleasant and helpful staff, you will definitely enjoy the local hospitality here.
