Prawn Pasta

Prawns are the best food that you can get from the sea,why? Once you cooked them, you can smell and taste the saltiness of the ocean, they are simply rich with flavours and what better way to serve them? Prawn pasta!

For any dish, prawns should be cleaned and deveined thoroughly to get rid of the bitter taste.Then, don't overcook them because they will turn rubbery and no one wants that. When they changed in color (from grey to bright orange), then you know they are cooked!

Ingredients that you need are:

1. 500g of fresh prawns (cleaned and deveined)

2. Spaghetti (according to the serving size)

3. 2 cups of tomato puree (instant or home-made)

4. 3 cloves of garlic (thinly sliced)

5. Seasoning (salt, pepper, chilli flakes, a teaspoon of lemon squeeze)

6. Olive oil (you can add as much as you want)

7. Parsleys (dried or chopped fresh parsley)

Instructions:

1. Prepare a pot of boiling water and cook the spaghetti according to the packet's instructions. Once they are cooked, toss them and add few drops of olive oil to prevent them from getting sticky to each other.

2. Add few tablespoons of olive oil into the pan on high heat. Then, add thinly sliced garlics and sauté  them for a few minutes. When they started to colour, add the prawns and cook them for few minutes (until the color changed).

3. Then, add the tomato puree and simmer for 5-10 mins. Season it with salt, pepper, chilli flakes and the lemon juice.

4. Toss the tossed spaghetti with the sauce and add chopped parsleys into the dish.

5. Serve while it is hot.
